Have you noticed sudden rush of worried physicists, anxious journalists, concerned individuals about prospect that not so evanescent diminutive black hole eats the Earth? It’s the question that raises over LHC and experiments scheduled to happen there, of course. And nobody seems to be too confident about it either, including worried physicists. Probably, that’s the reason why they are so worried.
Well, worry not! We, as a humans, are already doing quite a fine job killing the planet. We didn’t waste it completely so far, but it’s just a matter of time. But, we have plenty of time on our side. And, with each passing day, our ranks are growing bigger and bigger, faster and faster.
However, don’t be fooled, we are already doomed, together with our planet.
If we don’t change our ways, before planet is lost, that is. No escape capsule, no time machine and certainly no another (habitable) planet won’t save us. This is so because we’re lacking time, technology to do small colony on Mars, let alone complete population migration to another planet. And even if we could do all this stuff, we’re just as likely to kill new planet in time, just as we did it on Earth. And then what? Go to another planet, have another colony? Wouldn’t it be better to remind ourselves how to live in peace, harmony with nature, ourselves and the Earth?
Only we can do it. Here and now. If we choose so.
